Modular plastic wall formwork used across 28 floors of core and shear wall construction, achieving a consistent fair-faced finish with no steel fabrication on site.
The contractor needed 28 floors of core and shear wall with a fair-faced finish and no tolerance for patching. Bespoke steel was ruled out by lead time; the project went to modular plastic wall formwork.
What we supplied
A full wall formwork set with accessories, supported by a panel layout drawing produced from the structural drawings. Panels were delivered pallet-packed and assembled on site without fabrication.
Result
A consistent surface finish across all floors, with panels reused well beyond the rated cycle and repairs limited to individual components.
